Hi,

The ET 200SP module DI 8x24VDC HS (6ES7 131-6BF00-0DA0) could be used also to high speed counting. In this way it could works with signal up to 10 kHz.

All configurations are done in the device properties and the values/commands could be given directly by its IO interface.

The “Libraries with PLC data types (LPD) for STEP 7 (TIA Portal) and S7-1200 / S7-1500” (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/br/en/view/109482396) make the use of the IO interface in the customer program easier.

TIPs:

1 For easy use of the count value on program with comparators, you can change the data type of the read value from DWORD to UDINT or DINT.

2 Pay attention to not let "gaps" on the IO addressing when configure the Tag Table

 Hi Denilson, your video (from archive) is broken (have some broken position).
Have done your steps, but i didnt have working version, i have only channel status Boolean values working, but not counting ("address is not permitted..."  error).
Can you send me your video again (not broken), thx.

The video looks like it's "broken" because it stops for couple of minutes and then continue again.
