Hello, 6ES7647-0AA0-1YA2 SIMATIC IOT2040 (image 2.1.3) 6ES7647-0KA01-0AA2 SIMATIC IOT2000 input/output module I did read the digital inputs and I did use write to digital outputs correctly. I am now trying to read the current analog inputs value, I0/I1 for current inputs and U0/U1 for voltage inputs. I would like to display their value via Node-RED, but currently all of them are between 100 and 200, which I think is their current mV value. I found this table in the manual of my input/output module: I am currently connect to "U1" which is the second voltage input, so it should be "A2". There is 9.94V on the input and I get a variable value between 194 to 197 in Node-RED. I tried A0 to A5 and get the same result. I found this: Incorrect analog input read from pins A1 to A5
I get:
In the manual of the input/output module, I found something strange. IOT2000 IO, Input/Output ModuleI think it is an error since M is usually the reference. Anyway, can somebody help me find a way to read correct analog value please? Best regards, Hugo |

Hi HugoD, did you change the position of the left jumper like described in the I/O module manual on page 14?
This is an error, M has nothing to do with an analog output.. I will povide this information to the right persons. Thanks! Best regards! |
Not working for IOT2050 support anymore from March 1st, 2024. |

I would also like to see how to interface the analog inputs with Node Red, does anybody have an example? Thanks |

Was just responding to the customer, maybe somebody needs this. 2. Was using pins 2 and 3 according to manual because pin 1 is for voltage measurement - photo 2. 3. Was using logical input A1 (because pins 2-3 = input I0 are connected there) - photo 3. 4. Was using node "analogue" (=mraa-gpio-ain) from Intel_gpio library from Nodered repository - photo 4. Current is measured in tenth of percent. Input range is 0...20 mA. 15:31:48 - external signal is 5 mA, should be 5/20*100.0=25%, measured 254. 15:31:55 - external signal is 15 mA, should be 15/20*20.0=75%, measured 762.
