I am running TIA Portal V14 SP1 Update 6 on an ET200 Pro running an S7-300 processor I have a question concerning the use of a Balluff I/O Link Master BNI PNT-508-105-z015 Along with a Partner, I teach Siemens Portal and Step 7 Classic programming and troubleshooting at work. I have never worked with this type of remote I/O block before. My partner and I spent some time researching it and set one up. We set up some of the outputs as Standard I/O and I tried a basic start/stop cct. using an examine on (normally open contact) as a seal in for the start button. It doesn't work. I have attached a file to illustrate exactly what I mean. I am curious as to why this didn't work so I can explain it to our students. I have attached a diagram to help visualize what I am talking about. AttachmentSiemens balluff question.zip (145 Downloads) |
