For the Comfort panels you need WinCC Comfort V11 or above.

Thanks ChristophDfor your informative replies Can you elaborate this point :
Are there any functionalities of Scout that are feasible in Scout Standalone and not in TIA ? ( Except maybe use of old HMI panels ) After the TIA experience for other applications ( Basically substantial increase in software development time due to extremely slow interface of TIA ) ... no wonder everyone is afraid of using Scout in TIA . Would welcome feedback of users who have already gone through this ordeal ( Using Scout in TIA ) Cheers Navnag |

Hello, the .ap13 files contains not the complete project! The project is complete stored in the directory you specified as projectstore. In this directory there are other subdirectorys which contains the project data for HMI and SIMOTION. To migrate a older SIMOTION V4.3 project in TIA you must first convert the project with Scout V4.4 to the V4.4 project format. Then you can migrate this project in TIA Portal with the buildin migration functionality of TIA Portal. On the migration screen activate the checkbox "includes HW Configuration"! After migration the SIMOtion plc and the projected panels are migrated to TIA portal. Note: Only Simotion C and SIMOTION D4xx-2 PLC can be migrated to TIA Portal. Not all peripherial components are supported in the TIA Portal so you should check that you have only supported components in your project. The list for supported components you can download here.
