What will be the best configuration for installing TIA V11

Thanks, Soju Sonny Mathew Hello soju, The OS as such from Microsoft, 64 bit Windows 7 is fastest than other OS. Try using 8GB RAM memory and using SSD (not HDD) as it 'll upto 50% high performance.

So suggest me a full configuration in which I can have both XP and 7. V 10.5 basic will support xp 64 bit? Please help. Thanks, Soju

Thanks, Soju Hello Soju, But why do you need v10.5 when you have v11 SP2 installed already? It is sufficient to use v11 SP2 in place of v10.5

So if I want to modify any of my previous programs I definitly need this V 10.5. We are not able to migrate the advanced blocks to V 11. Thanks, Soju

V11 will run on XP, it just won't be as fast. I use XP Mode with win7-64. I have several XP mode configurations. 1. XP Mode - Portal 10.5 SP2 2. XP Mode - Portal 11 3. XP Mode - Portal 11 SP1 4. XP Mode - Portal 11 SP2 5. XP Mode - testing #5 is whatever I used to test upgrades before making it the new version. I have running applications to support in 10.5 SP2 and 11 SP2. I have been updating the 10.5 SP2 applications one by one to 11 SP2. Once everything is updated to V11 SP2, I can get rid of the interim XP Mode setups. I have opted not to use Win7-64 (yet) for any of the software because of the ease of cloning, testing an upgrade or update, and great isolation between normal processing and so I can easily migrate to a new computer at some point.
