When activating runtime two errors appear

Hi Amritpal,

We recently received the same two errors:

• Unspecified error (unhelpful)
• No Runtime project found (lie)

We solved it by resetting the Tag Logging Slow archive (be aware that this will delete the data you have there, we only had tags in Tag Logging Fast):

WinCC Explorer -> Tag logging -> Archive -> right click Tag logging Slow -> Reset

I hope this can help you towards a solution

We also had another problem on the same PC; it had a backup destination path on the D drive, which was a DVD drive, but this problem was logged in the diagnostics files in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Siemens\WinCC\diagnose\

I have reset both tag logging slow and tag logging fast, but still i am facing the same issue, and also i have unable to archive a project,

If possible, try the same with tag logging fast (but take a backup first if you need the data)

So it should not become an 'unspecified error'

But you can check it anyway:

WinCC Explorer -> Tag logging -> right click Archive -> Tag logging Slow -> Properties

Go to the 'Backup configuration' tab and see if the backup is activated and if it is pointing to an unreachable path, and check the same for tag logging fast.

I am also facing the same issue please suggest !!

Hi every one, 

We have delete the archive which is giving red ialarm information under 

Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio > Databases > [projectName] Alg***** 

This solves our issue.
