Hi What do you mean with "update the linked tag"? If you wamt to change the value of a tag with VB you have to use HMIRuntime.Tags("MyTag").Write So you change the value in the PLC too. if you need the value of the tag you can use the tagname only, so you get the value of the tag is known in WinCC. If you use HMIRuntime.Tags("MyTag").Read, you read the value of the tag from the PLC. Can you discribe your problem in more details, i have no idea whats your problem regards cumulus |

Hi Ok, i understand. The linked tag is a one way connection. The same problem you get by Faceplates too. You can try to set the linked tag inside the control, how it works with .net i do not know, or you use the event change of your property 'myproperty'. At this event, you readout the value and set the tag as you written. I thing that should work. A action you should not use, because you get a delay between valuechange and set of property and you set the property very often, although it is not nessesary. regards cumulus |
