Hello Hero_ac, the timestamp which is stored for the values in the archivesegments is in UTC, which is the same as GMT. In which timezone you are ? My timezone is UTC+1 in winter and UTC+2 in summer. Depending on you timezone, you have calculate the Bias to UTC for requesting data. see FAQ "How do you calculate the difference between local time and UTC time in WinCC and how do you convert UTC time into an SQL statement?" https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/22115636 Regards Georg Berghof |

Hello Hero_ac, you should configure your archiveconfiguration, that you would not get more then 200 archivesegments in sum for Alarmlogging, TagloggingFast and TagloggingSlow. See FAQ "How many single segments can be connected to the SQL server in PCS 7 without impairing performance?" https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/34473263 Regards Georg Berghof |

Hi bg2492, With this instruction, we could not reach to 200 archivesegments in sum. But for solving the problem of WinCC OLE Data provider we must config taglogging slow for 01 hour per segment for making excel report. We activated the backup database and re-configed the time of all segments is one month to avoid the exceed 200 segments in sum! I have one more question that: how to re-import the segments at the backup folder for seaching the historian event, process value? Or how do we use WinCC OLE DB-Provider for accessing the backup folder database? Best regards, Hero_ac

Hello Hero_ac, in the Alarm-OCX and in Trend- and Table-OCX for Taglogging, you have the possibility to add buttons for connecting or disconnection backup-archive-segments for displaying "older" data in the WinCC-Runtime. If you have activate the backup-archives, you can access the data with WinCC OLE DB Provider too, of course. An other possibility is to use a seperate Computer with a Connectivity Pack Server to activate backup-archive-segments and access the data with WinCC OLE DB Provider. see: http://w3.siemens.com/mcms/human-machine-interface/en/visualization-software/scada/wincc-options/wincc-connectivity-pack/Pages/Default.aspx Regards Georg Berghof |
