I have 2 server machines both runing on Windows Server 2008 R2 and both have Wincc7.0 SP3 installed. On second server there was also MS SQL Server 2008 R2 installed before the Wincc installation. Download of the Wincc project to the first server goes without a problem, but on second server download keep failing again and again with the error "No or invalid Project Context, ASO cannot work correct". Even if I try to duplicate project to the second server it fails saying "The SQL-Server instance "WinCC" is not installed on the target computer. Saving or duplicating will be cancelled". I can localy create a new project on second server without a problem. Security of the shared folders are same on both servers (full control set for groups Administrators, Simatic HMI and SQLServer2005MSSQLUser$computer_name$WINCC), also the local user is member of groups Administrators, Simatic HMI and SQLServer2005MSSQLUser$computer_name$WINCC. I've been trying few days to solve the problem, also read FAQs and forum posts about downloading to OS, but without success. According to same hardware and software configuration of servers except MS SQL Server 2008 R2 installed on second server, I assume this might be a problem. Also the duplicator error confirms there might be a problem with SQL Server. In the printscreen attached you can see that there are 2 instances of SQL Server installed: MSSQLSERVER (default instance - MS SQL Server 2008 R2) and WINCC (named instance - created by Wincc installation). I wonder if you have any experiences (good or bad) with downloading to OS with multiple SQL Server instances? Attachmentinstalled_sql_instances.zip (242 Downloads) |
