WinCC Tags of System Blocks

makdag Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone, I'm using PCS 7 V7.1 SP3.The Project consist of ES and single OS. I want to get diognastic informations without using Maintenance Station. Is that possible to get diognastic information from WinCC tags that automaticly generated for system blocks (OB_BEGIN, MOD_HA etc.) How can we use these tags? I could not find any information about these tags somewhere. Thanks in advance Regards

Thanks in advance Regards Hi, recently I found a FAQ regarding diagnostic of redundancy state of CPU without asset management / maintenance station. For the moment it is only available in german and spanish language, but I think the english translation will follow soon. Maybe it gives you some ideas: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/57119846 Furthermore there are several options for diagnostics without asset management: - You can use WinCC Lifebeat Monitoring to supervice the connection state to AS Stations and more. You can find informations in the WinCC help. - You can use PCS 7 Basic diagnostic where are no licences are needed. Right click on a plant hierarchy folder "Plant Hierarchy > Settings...". Check out the Help button in this dialog, there the basic diagnostics is descriped. If this is not enough, you can project a full diagnostic by yourself, but then you have to do everything what asset management is doing by your own. This might be a little bit of work. You also can project full diagnostic and analyze the objects / scripts in the WinCC pictures and then do it manually.

Thanks Silent Bob,I have a problem with Lifebeat Monitoring. There is no entry in the list. @Config.PDL is not generated, even ifAS-OS communication is established. Regards.

At the first start of the Lifebeat Monitoring editor the list has no entry. You have to specify the Name (choose whatever you like), then you have to select the typeand the connection. You can only select projected connections.
