How to connect a potentiometer to an analog input/output module AI 4xU/I/RTD/TC/ AQ 2xU/I ST (6ES7534-7QE00-0AB0) and which resistance value (1; 10; 100; 4,7; 47 or 470 kOhm) to take?

So it shouldn't be a problem to wire one of below Siemens potentiometers to the AI/AO module:

In this case only one disadvantage I can think of is that two AI channels have to be used to wire a potentiometer by which one channel is lost..
