Hi Amit_86, are you using CFC's for your engineering? If yes, I am sure you know about the code generation of the CFC compiler. Itis not always very effecient. Try to reduce thecode in your blocks. Programmingnot using CFC might be an alternative for you (not always). Good luck |

Hello, I am not using CFC Language in this case. Program codes are written in LAD/STL. Currently i am busy with Block Optimization only in order to reduce significant amount of work memory. FYI , Now, Work memory is 87% instead of 98%. |

You will get there Amit_86! Keep on going By the way, does anybody know why we need to differentiate between code and data memory? That's old historyand structures from the 80' with S5. I hope beside asecret service agent a Siemens product manager is reading this post too. We need onework memory only without dividing it into code and data memory.A block is a block independent of the locationin the work memory. Actually we are in 2013. Best Regards. |

Yoy can reduce unnecessary Dbs & use memory bits if possible. |

If you are facing issues with Work Memory size, there is no other option but to upgrade to a higher CPU. |
