Hello SIOS Forum Community, Again and again we receive questions about the SUS contracts of the TIA Portal software and the required software versions. The prerequisite for concluding an SUS contract is the existence of the current version of the respective software! The conclusion of an SUS contract does not include the upgrade to the current version of the software. The SUS maintenance contract can be concluded at any time and is ordered like a product. Ordering the Software Update Service includes all new software versions for the product for a period of one year from the date of invoice. These are provided free of charge. The contract is automatically extended by one year if not cancelled three months before expiry. A Software Update Service is ordered for each installed licence.
