Assuming you have Step7 V5.5 installed already, and got it from a download on Siemens site, if you explore the file, there is a folder called CD_1, open that, then open STEP7, DISK1, S7SDD64.  There is an exe, which will fail (the actual installer for S7 calls this) and an MSI called SIMATIC Device Drivers.  The MSI is what you need.

 When I tried to run this msi, a got message that I cannot run it separatelly and  another time a got message that other version of this softwer is already installed. I checked version of installed Device drives in Simatic menager : 1.2     K01.02.04.... Please help

and what exactly is you problem?
You have a Version of the DeviceDrive installed and the subsetup you try to run can only be started from the masterframe setup.

So explain us exactly what is your problem and why you would damage your Simatic Installation?

Does this Adapter support the USB 3.0 Interface (see the technical Data of the adapter)?

ok the adpater is not releases with USB 3.0 compatibility.

Is the Adapter show in the Windows device Manager?

Are the LED's green on the Adapter.

Is the Adapter connected with the delivered MPI cable to the PLC, and does this PLC supply 24V/5V for the adapter on the MPI INterface?

if you open the properties of the device an click on install driver and then automatic search on the computer is this working?

Or have you already uninstalled the driver on you system ? Then you should reinstall the SIMATIC SW and hope that the driver is reinstalled on you system.

I have fresh instalation of Step 7 so I think reinstalling the step 7 will not help.

If yes then it is no fresh installation.

Which Step7 you have installed exactly?
