Pratosh Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I have a licenced copy of Simatic Step -7 V 5.4 ,SP-5 ,but during installation erroer occure and message dispalyed saying that install the Step-7 with Widows Xp SP-2 or Windows Server or Windows Vista Operating System. pls tell me how could i install this Step-7 V5.4 Sp-5 on my Windows -8 or Windows -7 OS.

Marcjan Diamond Member Joined: 4/22/2010 Last visit: 3/31/2025 Posts: 5697 Rating: (716)	Hello, Step 7 V5.4 is not released for windows 7 or 8 Which version of STEP 7 is compatible with which version of Microsoft Windows operating system? So you need V5.5 or instal on a Virtual Machine. Regards, Marcjan
