Dimi1980 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi, my first time posting here. ive recently made a project with a PC running a WinCC Flexible Runtime (on windows 7),logged on as an user without admin rights, and i've noticed the following fact. When all is running and i disconnect the network cable from PC to PLC the disconnection is lost. When i reconnect the cable, i getamessage from windows 7 saying that S7epasrvx.exe needs administrator rights to start up. When i enter administrator user and pw all starts up again and all is ok. Is it possible to avoid this and let windows run this without admin rights?Because the operator does not have these rights. Isuppose this is something i need to adjust in windows 7 (services?) but i can't find it Thx, Dimi1980

If WinCC (TIA Portal) is running at a Win7 pc you need at least "power user" rights. A normal "user" account isn´t enought in this case. With best regards

When im logged on (admin in windows) there is never a problem. When the operator logs on (no admin in windows) there is only a problem when i disconnect the network cable and plug it back in. At that point windows asks for a windows admin-user + pasword to start up service S7epasrv.exe to continue. If i fill in with my credentials, the connection is restored and everything is fine again. Is it possible to bypass this question, so it automatically restores without giving a windows admin user + pasword? Windows only seems to have auser problemwith this service?
