License Problem

I had a windows crash yesterday when Writing code in Step7.

After rebooting the computer, my license keys are corrupt or defective.

What can I do to correct this problem ?

I tried to move the corrupt keys to an empty licence usb stick, but that doesn't work since the key is corrupt.

open a Support Request.
If you have the Licence Certificate the Support will generate new Licences.

I must admit that I'm surprised, the Siemens support improved quite a lot the last years.

The bad thing is that you have to wait to get a call  or email back, sometimes a couple of days.

It's normally not a problem when sitting relaxed in the office chair, but when out on a commissioning it can be a bit frustrating.

No complaints about the technicians, they are normally quite competent and good.

It's the big heavy organization that can be the problem.
