SIMOCODE configuration for setting over load current externally

Do I understand right that you would like to change the Set Current Is parameter at SIMOCODE by PLC program or HMI?

This is possible by acyclic communication using read/write command for data record 130 (device parameters).

For this I recommend to have a DB at PLC which is big enough for the Data Record 130 (structure and size see SIMOCODE System Manual). Read Data Record with PLC function (e.g. SFB52 RD_REC) and store this at DB in PLC. Change the value of D-WORD 80 which includes the set current in 10mA unit and write this complete length of Parameters back to SIMOCODE Data Record 130 (e.g. with SFB53 WR_REC).

If the write command was finished sucessfully SIMOCODE is running with the new Set Current.
