Or with RS232? When using RS232, which USB / RS232 adapter you use? Which operating system do you have? Can you make a screenshot of the error message?

I have logo serial cable I am also using a usb/rs232 cable I bought locally. it has a driver with it which has been installed on my laptop too. I am using window 7 operating system. no error show, only that no com port is showing when I try to connect to the logo, I am having only virtual Ethernet adapter as my path of communication. no com port showing.
