Logo! Soft Comfort V8.0.0 is the latest version.

Older versions are no longer sold by Siemens.

My biggest complaint is repeatedly having to select cable interface every time I change a value in a program, then having to manually start the logo

If you only work with a 0BA6 (and younger), there is a solution in which you no longer need to use the interface selection.

I have Windows 7. In my home directory (C: \ "username"), there is a directory ".LOGOComfort8.0". In this directory there is a file called "application.ini".

Select at last the cable and the right COM Interface and close LOGO! Soft Comfort.

Now open the file "application.ini" with Notepad and search for the contact:
ConfirmBeforeComm = true

Change the entry in ConfirmBeforeComm = false and save the file.

Now the cable and the corresponding end of COM interface is permanently selected.

If you want to return to the normal interface selection, you need to move only Change back in ConfirmBeforeComm = true .

Edit:
For security, you can indeed ertsellen from the beginning of the changes, a copy of the file.

I have added the line

ConfirmBeforeComm=false

To no avail

 

Why your application.ini file contains so few occurrences, is beyond my knowledge.

I have the entry "ConfirmBeforeComm = true" does not have to add, he was already there. I changed him from "true" to "false" and that works perfectly for me.

Check out the date. It is of 2004.

 As you can see the date of yesterday. That was the last access to the LSC before I copied the application.ini.
Your last access can not have been of 2004.

The application.ini there several times on the PC.
You've chosen the wrong.

The "Applications.ini" which you edited, lies in the path of the installed programs. That's wrong.

I will give you as an example, in which path is the right file.
My username for the PC is "i5".

The file, which you edited, is in my path:
C: \ Proramme \ Siemens \ LOGOComfort_V8

The correct file is in my user folder i5, directory ".LOGOComfort8.0".
