Input PLC 1 to Output PLC2

Hello,

I am looking for the easiest way to send   an input (for example I0.3) from PLC 1 (1214C) to an output (for example Q0.1) on PLC 2,

What is the easiest way to do this??

They are both in the same network

The easyest way must is setting PLC 2 as I-davice and transfer a Output Area from PLC1 to A Input Area in PLC2.

You have to do a little logic to Move the Input and output

thanks, and what if I wanna send an output in my program to the other PLC. I have a couple who'll stay on the first plc. Lets say that I have  10 outputs I'll put 5 to Q0.0 - Q0.4 on PLC 1  and wanna send the other  for example with M20.0 -M20.4 to PLC 2.

Just use Move operations in both ends.

You can move ie. QB0 -> QB1, in the "Send" PLC and move IB1->MB20 in the "Receive" PLC

I am looking for that "operation mode" but I don't have that on the 1214C which is an 1AG31 type instead of 1AG40...

You can use your FW3.X CPU as the controller only and then use the FW4.X CPU as the I-Device.

If you don't have a FW4.X, I suggest you to use the good old S7 connection communication.

Youre rigt, S7-Communications is a good solution , but In general I try to avoid Get/ Put, cause anyone on the network could ( by accident) write in "my" PLC.

The advantege of using S7-communication and Bsend / Breceive of cource is you know that data is send / received when you get "Done" without doing any programming of handshakes.

The advantage of Open user communication is no S7-connection has to be set up in NetworkView. You can change parameters during Runtime.
