Hello, it is only possible, if you manipulate the LOGO! hardware and without any guarantee !!! A solution to do this is writen in the german part of the forum: Displaybeleuchtung ...>> LOGO-DISPLAY.pdf You must connect two wires (red!!! in the picture) insite the LOGO! basic module and find a way out of the module (that´s easy). Then you can get a external key or a LOGO! relay (!) output to control theinternal bachlight ON/OFF. But i think you shoud control the ON-time per logo circuit (and an external key) and NOT let the LED´s "ON" all the time! Best regards Betel |

Is this correct? Connect the two pads as indicated by the red line Connect two wires to the pads as indicated by the yellow lines Drill a hole in the PCB and route the wires out of the LOGO Connect the wires to a suitable external switch Is there any reason (thermal issues?) why I couldn't just use a three way connection between all three pads giving a permanent backlight? |
