6RA 2732 F11 Alarm

Hi dear

I have cnc turning machine with 6RA 2732 DC Spindle Drive.

everything work correctly . As run CW and CCW correctly and any RPM be do . but when i want to stop the spindle . mean the command S=0 . in the Simodrive alarm F11 appear .

This alarm just appear when i try to stop the spindle .

please tell me what to do ?

F 11 - Tacho monitor i.e. tacho open or wrong polarity.

Is this running machine or trying to tune. Why you apply command S=0 to stop spindle? Do you want to hold the motor at zero RPM?

yeas . when i want to stop spindle , the spindle become zero . but after  that the drive show fault F11 .

everything is ok . means the spindle work correctly . turn Cw and CCW and any speed . but when i try to stoop it . after the RPM become zero . the drive show fault F11 .

Have you checked by appling command M05?

This drive used in CNC Gildemeister turning machine with EPL2 Controller .

yes.sometimes  when i use M05 and after spindle stop the alarm F11 appear . for example i turn the spindle and stop it several time . it work correctly . but after 5 times or more test it suddenly when i try to stop it this error appear ( sometimes correct and sometimes wrong and fault )

Have you checked your tacho, especially tacho out put at low RPM? Is it DC or AC? 

Have you checked coupling between tacho & motor?

I think This is DC Taco . it's HUBNER and 20V at 1000RPM

i check the coupling and any connector and clean the collector with spray . but the problem not solve.

i check the output tacho with Voltmeter in different speed . i think the linear ratio is ok . ( i use a simple voltmeter ) .

may this fault related to Pin Nr. 64 ( Drive Enable ) . mean when the CNC controler want to stop may be it's enable or disable faster or later.

Please check the tacho output waveform on oscilloscope to find out the signal quality of tacho.

Such irratic behaviour could be because of tacho output. If drive DI i.e. 63, 64 or 81 inputs malfunction, motor stoping behavoiur would change but in such case f11 is not suppose to be displayed.

Have you modified any parameters recently?

I think a some parameter was changed . because i have a document that show some parameter is different . i read a manual about a 6RA27 Drive , but a can't find anything about F11 that relative to any parameter.

i think it's better to check tacho with osiloscope . but how to check it ?
