system data

hi

i want to know what is system data that is created automatically in every project,and if i download it to plc with other blocks ,i will not need to download HW? i mean HW will be downloaded to plc if system data  was downloaded?

But take care!

If you do changes in HW-config without compiling, system data blocks and hardwareconfiguration is different!

the SDB store HW Configuration, the connections (NETPRO) and the globlal data.

 All configurations that were not placed in OB,DB,FB,FC

assume we made a change in some blocks and using CTRL+ A to download all data (system data also ) to cpu when it is in RUN mode ,so this will cause to cpu to go to stop mode?

i asked this question because i heard that downloading any hardware configuration make cpu go to stop mode

if you make a CTRL+A and then do the loading operation, first load all the blocks then you will see the message (294:36) if you want to load the system data. If you click "yes" the CPU goes to STOP. sure before you warn, before going to STOP, otherwise press cancel
