How to assign TAG to I/O Field using VBS script?

Hello anonym53,

in the C-Editor of WinCC you can find internal functions like
"SetLink" and "GetLink".

"SetLink" is creating a tag connection of object properties.
"SetLink" specifies the current tag connection of object properties.

The functions (with examples) in the WinCC-help.

 Depending on your needs, you can create something similar with VBS.

First create an internal tag of the type "Text tag 8-bit".

You can manipulate the value of this internal tag by VBS to write another tagname in it.

In your I/O-field, you can link the outputvalue-property to the internal tag and enable the "indirect" checkbox behind it. This way you can change the tag used in an I/O-field just by write another tagname to the internal text tag.

did you check if my previous reply could work for your needs?

Yes, the need is to avoid using local Tags and also to avoid using VBS actions with cyclic trigger. 

In the meantime I have to use VBS actions with cyclic trigger. 

Would be useful to reference the Dynamic property and the Indirect addressing like in VBA (HmiObject.Property.Dynamic....)
