Alarm Logging with Group Display

I'm after a little bit of configuration help with setting up alarms to display them on the area overview with a group display. I've read a lot across the forum but I just can't figure out where I'm going wrong. All the alarms are displaying on @AlarmOneLine.pdl but I can't get the group display to update when a new alarm comes in. The only time the alarm will appear on the area buttons is when I acknowledge it? Then once the alarm resets the alarm doesn't clear from the area buttons? I've played around with the status bits and I know the group display works correctly when I manipulate them in the program so I happy my conversion is correct for the event state. I just feel I need to configure more in the alarm logging to get it working? Or modify some settings in the alarm class properties to get the alarm updating on each change?

Any pointers or help would be appreciated.

I had not completed all the configuration that was required and duplications of the same alarm. I'm picking up this project from some Germans which is making it a little trickier to work out what they have done (language barrier) but where they have built the message output from say an analogue input they have swapped the high and low word in the FB hence the wrong alarms coming through. But they had already built some alarms correctly which were coming up in @Alarmlineone. At that point I also didn't stop the runtime whilst editing the alarms. Once I stopped and restarted it was all good. I'd also not configured the group messages I had written the status bits in the Alarm Logging as single messages so only one transmitter was sending its status bits to the group display.

I have as message tags the "valveName".ALARM es Valve1.ALARM, Valve2.ALARM.

How can I make them appear in the same group display?
