Fault in 1511-1 PN CPU

Ajey Posts: 23 Rating: (1)	Hello everyone, i am using at the moment Simatic 1511-1 PN and have unique problem while downloading program. As i am trying to search accessible devices without memory card it is showing with address and LED of X1P1 is turned ON in orange color and i can easily add this device but problem occurs when i am trying to download it shows errors to insert memory card. After inserting memory card of Siemens(4MB) i could not even detecting device while searching in Accessible devices and LED of X1P1 is even turned off. On a display i am seeing "Connecting" and "Fault". i have memory card of other Rexroth and one from Siemens(2GB) but it is not even detecting that memory card. I don't know what is actually problem. i have check memory card of Siemens (4MB) manually in my computer with card reader and i can see some files means i guess it's not damaged. can anyone have any idea what is actually damaged. thank you in advance Ajey

Also, you must not format it with Windows formatting tool. I can detect and read memory card in other CPU(i.e. memory card, used space, available space etc.) but not in S7-1511 CPU. does it possible that my cpu 1511 has a fault of not table to read memory card?
