Dynamic addressing Wincc

Hi everyone,

I'm using wincc 7.4 with a s71500 plc connected by Simatic s71200-1500 driver. I have a lot of tags pointing all to the same DB and I want to change its addressing on runtime by setting an internal tag (string) and using it as parameter in column address in tag management. It is possible?

For Example
In Tia Portal v15 for comfort panels I use this method to avoid re-addressing, since there are a lot of panels and they all are almost the same.
So the addressing is DB[DB_Number].DBW136 where "DB_Number" is an internal tag written by me.

Is it possible to do the same thing in Wincc?

Hello Daiana87,

adress-multiplexing, as you know it from comfort panels
is not possible in WinCC V7.4 and not in TIA Proffesional too.
You need to create all tags in the Tagmanagement.
The only thing, you can do is to use "indirect addressing"
on objectproperties, where you connect a tag.
