WebNavigator client stop working remotely after update

arkadiyo Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	After installing WinCC 7.4 SP1 Update 12, WebNavigator client stopped connecting to the server remotely. Locally at the server, the connection occurs without any problems (via localhost and ip-addresses). If i'm trying to connect from another computer (Win10), it asks for a login and password, installs the necessary plugins, displays diagnostics. But instead of displaying the Screens it says "no connection to server" (standard screen with a reconnection attempts). I spent quite a lot of time in experiments and forums, but could not find a solution. Please advise what can be checked. On server side i'm using Windows Server 2012 r2

bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello arkadiyo, do you have installed some other SIMATIC Software on the PC, where you use the WebNavigator Client ? There is a component SIMATIC SCS, which is used in common by different SIMATIC products. Which version has this component ? Regards Georg Berghof

arkadiyo Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	No, this PC have no any other SIMATIC Software except DataMonitor and Advanced Control that was installed before server updates and reinstalled after.

bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello arkadiyo, you mean, you have installed TIA Portal Advanced ? Which version of TIA Portal Advanced ? You should have SIMATIC SCS K7.4.2.7 for the Web-Client- Regards Georg Berghof

arkadiyo Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Thanks for your reply! On server side I have installed WinCC 7.4 SP1 UPD12 and STEP7 v5.6. On remote client side only Internet Explorer with software (plugins) that was proposed to be installed upon first access to the website. I will try to find the current SCS version and send screenshots in a few hours

arkadiyo Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Sorry, where I can find my SIMATIC SCS version? I found only one similar label at the server, in WinCC Explorer -> WebNavigator Info window (at screenshot below). It is K7.4.1.12, but it works well at the localhost... Attachment 01.png (519 Downloads)

bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello arkadiyo, if you have installed some Simatic Software, you should have an application "Inst. Software", where you could display it. But if you have installed only the Web-Client, you would not have such an application. On the other hand, if you have installed only the Web-Client, you would not have the problem with SIMATIC SCS. Do you have any free license for Web-Client, I can not see this in the screenshot, I can only see, that 1 license is used by the Server. Or you try to use the DataMonitor-Client, which is installed too, instead of the Web-Client, but you have no license for the DataMonitor-Client. Regards Georg Berghof

arkadiyo Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	I checked the installed software - it have SIMATIC SCS K7.4.2.7 on server and of the PC stations. On other only IE as I said before. I checked the server licences - it have enough free licences both for DataMonitor and WebClient. Looks like something block web-plugin or activex components connections to the remote server (firewall completely switched off now)

bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello arkadiyo, do you use the 32-Bit version of the Internet-Explorer 11. You can not use the 64-Bit version of the Internet-Explorer 11, or the Edge. You could try to use the WinCCViewerRT.exe, which you should have on the PC too. You can try to empty the cash of the Internet-Explorer. Regards Georg Berghof
