WinCC 7.5 SP1 Upd4; Cannot open WinCC explorer - CCusrAcv

Benjo KP Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm having a problem opening the WinCC explorer which I believe started occurring after a forced shutdown of the machine. The WinCC explorer begins opening and proceeds through various loading bars, but It freezes at 'CCUsrAcv'. I have checked the windows services and it appears to be stopped, and when set to run, the service only runs momentarily before stopping again. Do you have any advice on how to proceed with this? Insert start-> Execute rest_wincc.vbs This tool you can find in the wincc installation directory Best regards schufri

bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello Benjo KP, the "CCUsrAcv.exe" is the Userarchive-Server. Maybe something is destroyed in the Userarchives. You can try to remove the userarchive from the startup-list in the computer-properties. Sometimes it helps, to delete the dcf-files, see FAQ: "How do you delete the DCF file of your WinCC project?" https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109763043 Regards Georg Berghof
