I'm in a deep difficulty here.... how can I enable the CiR option in the HW configuration under: Edit-->Master system-->Enable CiR capability... I the manualS7Cir_e.pdf and I followed all of thenecessarysteps.... If anyone knows how to... plz it would be great!!! I attached a pic of the HW config.... H-H Platinum Member Joined: 7/2/2008 Last visit: 12/20/2025 Posts: 929 Rating: (309)	Hello woop_ass, The S7Cir manual states the following in page 11, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Hardware Requirements* You require the following hardware configuration in order to be able to modify the configuration of a system in RUN mode via CiR: - Implementation of an S7-400 standard-CPU (CPU 412, CPU 414, CPU 416 or CPU 417) as of Firmware V3.1.0 or an S7-400-H CPU (CPU 414-4H or CPU 417-4H) in stand-alone mode as of Firmware V3.1.0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, CIR is not made for S7-400H operating in redundant mode. However, it's still possible to modify your system during RUN. You can find detailed information when you read chapter 14 (System modifications in operation) in S7-400H manual . Best regards. H-H

If it's RAM then you have no problem. Just edit and download. Butif it's a FLASH one then online modification of user program requires some steps (read chapter 14). H-Systems requires downloading all error organization blocks. Make sure you have already downloaded OB121 (Programming error)before modification. Best regards. H-H
