Step 7 v5.5 - Programming S7 block editor

Blaza Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a problem with new version of Step 7 - 2010 Professional. Instalation has finished without any problems. License is OK too. The problem is after open a block for editing. The editor freezes and windows reports a that the program has stopped working. This problem I have with OB, FC,.. SCL editor runs without problem. My computer: Lenovo T410s, Intel I5, 4GB, Win 7 32 bit Pro CZ Can someone help me? Thanks

My fear is that such a problem might appear on next generation of STEP7, TIA Portal, too. But I don't think so. So we will have to wait and see. JorisHuygh Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I Had the same problem, only it only happened when I tried to edit a DB or an UDT. I also noticed that when I wanted to edit a Graph-program I got a "RICHED32.DLL not found" error. So after a bit of internet-surfing I found a solution. You can try to do a DOS-command "SFC /Scannow". This will check all the Windows-resources (DLL's) and replace or repair them. After this everything worked "fine" again. Good luck.
