RAJKIRAN Silver Member Joined: 8/18/2009 Last visit: 7/28/2025 Posts: 558 Rating: (33)	Dear Expert, i want 4-20 AI signal in one of my S7-200 series project, I have searched all AI Module but I got 0-20ma not 4-20 ma. could you tell me if 4-20 ma AI module available for 200 series or any other method to get 4-20 ma.

Hello, In S7200, PLC Count varies from 0 to 32767 respect to 0-20mA.In your Application you have to use Scale libraryS_ITR whereyou have to define min count and max count in block. As yourequired 4mA you have to set min count 6400. and max count 32767.and you will get accurate Reading. Hence no need to have 4-20mA AI Module in S7200. As per my Knowledge there is no module available in S7200 which measures 4-20mA. All Supports 0-20mA. Dear All, correct me if i am wrong.

How can you scale analog values with S7-200 in conjunction with CPU224XP and expansion modules EM 231, EM 232 and EM 235? And generally, you can create your own library for S7-200 How do you create your own library with STEP 7 Micro/WIN and what should you pay attention to? Hope this helps.

The example is given for CPU224XP but it works with CPU226 as well. Hope this helps.
