Unusual in that the Spindle Drive, Spindle Servo Card, Power Supply, Spindle Encoder, Control Servo Card, Control Power Supply, Both Processor Boards (A2100 Control) and the BBB Board have been replaced. Servo Power Supply 1P6SN1145-1BB00-0EA0 Spindle Drive 1P6SN1123-1AA01-0FA0 Controller Card 1P6SN1121-0BA11-0AA0 Firmware HSA2.4 Spindle Motor 1PH7 184-2NE00-0BJ0

Noise could be an issue here, although i do not know details of the exact installation. Ensure all cables are correctly bonded to reduce EMC, Making sure that bonding is only performed at one end of all cables. Best regards SteveJ

Dave Posts: 271 Rating: (29)	Hello RobertC, I've heard ofmanyreasons for F11 faults; however, in your case you haven't provide sufficient information in order to help you. Generally the F11 fault occurs in conditions where the speed controller is driven to it's limit for an extended period of time and the motor is either not moving at all or not able to keep up with the demands of the machine controller output to the drive. What could cause this? Excessive load by the machine. Excessive inertia coupled to the motor shaft. External brake is locking up the shaft output. Ramp timetoo aggressive. Gearbox efficiency decreased. Mechanical binding somewhere on this axis. However, this is assuming that the motor actually is trying to turn and has some torque applied from the drive. I would suggest that you remove the motor from the load and try to operate it independent from the machine. If it works fine, then you need to examine your load closely. You might also want to try a test and operate the motor in voltage frequency mode to make sure that the motor can be driven by the drive only. This will eliminate the speed loop and encoder from your system and verify that the motor can be driven by the drive. If the motor does not turn, then I would suspect that your motor power cables are questionable or that the DC bus bars are loose or the low voltage equipment bus is damaged. Good luck. Hope this helps... PS... There have been seldomunusual F11 faults in all the years I've worked with the 611 drive.
