Loop

Hi,

I am working in an inspection system and I am facing 2 problems first one related to stop the machine in specified date if the inspection system test not performed and I have solved.

second problem is my plc receiving (3thrd party device -Profinet) changeable double integer coped in DB100.DBD0 value for example.

1. DB100.DBD0 = 723
2. DB100.DBD0 = 720
3. DB100.DBD0 = 721

n. DB100.DBD0 = 719

n = the number of the product (My understand is it should be the number of the loop)

my task is to add theses values and compare it to a value stored in MD20.

can anyone help me?

Would you mind providing background on the system you are using and what exactly you want to do?

Which PLC model and what version of Step 7 are ypu using?

You seem to indicate that you plan a running average on the value of your register, is that correct? There are many ways to do so, it will change depending on the programming language you select

 LOOP is an STL instruction. Is this the eay you are programming this function? Can yoi show us the results of your efforts?

 First of all thanks for your reply , let me explain more I am developing inspection system for counting system . 

Inspection System conveyor (boxes)+ Vision system , Vision system counting the Number of the items inside the boxes and send the value to the PLC and compared to the PLC Setpoint my idea is  ..

• if the order is 200 boxes 
• each boxes 720 pcs 
• total =200*720 = 144000

1.  I am thinking ----the number of the boxes  it should be the loop number 
2. adding received depend on the loop No example (200 times )
3. compare the sum of both side vision and plc set point

• SIMATIC MANGER 5.6

Yes it  was a big confuse , but I have solved by using long method of programming  😢😢😢and the  system already  tested  kindly check
