New 1FK7 Motor Different Encoder

I have no idea for your application but be very interested in it. waiting the answer together with you.But one question for you--You use these SINAMICS+motor in THE Siemens CNC system such as 840D sl. or you use SINAMICS CU340 for instance.

If SINAMICS only system, do you think it is better post in SINAMIC GROUP which may get better help and faster.

I replaced my 1FK7060-5AF71-1KG0 motor with a 1FK7060-5AF71-1FG0 motor. I used Starter to fix the topography issues. Both are Drive-Cliq. I was able to take control and enable the drives while in Starter and test the new motor. When I exit Starter and cylcle the power to the machine it comes up with a encoder warining that clears with a reset but none of the drives are enabled. I log into Starter and it shows that there are no alarms. I'm at a loss. Any help would be appreciated.

Motor 1FK7060-5AF71-1KG0 = Motor with DRIVE-CLiQ interface encoder system, 16 bit absolute encoder single turn + 12 bit multi-turn (encoder AM16DQ)

Motor 1FK7060-5AF71-1FG0 = Motor with DRIVE-CLiQ interface encoder system, 22 bit absolute encoder single turn + 12 bit multi-turn (encoder AM22DQ)    

Because of this encoder difference, system would have displayed the error. Have you corrected axis encoder data accordingly?

As I did not use SINAMICS and 840D sl so much. so I did not familiar with STARTER.

But I know in SIMODRIVE 611U system, SET UP software is SIMO COM U.

WHEN YOU DOING SIMILAR action as you did--replace motor with DIFFRENT ENCODER .

if you forget to modify some data, when you finish set up, the system --SIMOCOM U will show you the error, the system will not running. I know most of motor data including encoder data are integrated into the system,

BUT why your "starter" not give you error

The code I'm receiving upon startup is 25022.  This only shows on the controller. When I connect via Starter Commisioning tool it shows no alarms. I will post a few pics. 

I feel that the problem has something to do with the 840D SL PLC and not the S120 drive. I say that because the Starter Commisioning tool does not show an alarm. It will also allow me to enable the drives and jog them. The problem comes in when I disconnect from the Starter Commisioning tool and use the Machine Controller. I think I need to change something in the PLC. I do not have Step 7 to access the PLC nor do I have any experiance using Step 7. If someone could help me that has experiance with Step 7 and the 840d sl. I would be very appreciating.
