S7 K5.6.0.1 Does not open any projects when offline

Hi everybody

I've recently installed Step 7 Professional 2017, the installation was done at my workplace whit the PC connected to the firm WiFi, everythig works well when i'm connected to the firm WiFi but when i'm offline S7 does not visualize the project window when i try to open/retrieve/create any project

any help will be appreciated

Have you checked you haven't installed things or placed project folder on a network folder of the company :p , which you can perhaps reach only when your connected to the companies network ?

Yes i'have already checked, nothing was installed on network disks

also your project is saved/retrieved on your local hard drive of your pc ?

No project was saved/open on network disks, i took a look at the link you suggested me, it's exactly the same problem i've right now, unfortunately no solution is indicated, by the way my OS is W7 and some days ago there was a W7 updating, do you think it could affect?

I've put the compatibility matrix for step 7 prof 2017 and windows 7 (& others) in attachment for you.

You can do this yourself through this link as well .

Please provide some more info by telling us your exactly OS, print screens of your step 7 screen etc...

my OS is W7 Professional 64Bit SP1, i've checked the compatibility table and everything looks ok, apart, in case of compatibility conflict due to OS i think i should have troubles both online and offline, anyway tks again

If nobody posts a solution then start a Support Request.

 When ever i run into unexpected problems in a software, first thing i do is check for updates.
