Hi, I recently bough a IoT2050 6ES7647-0BA00-1YA2 and I had 2 problems right out of the box: 1- The battery was held with a Velcro that failed during transport which resulted in a loose battery in the enclosure. 2- Upon disassembling the case as per the IoT2050 operating manual on page 41, there is no mention of the Thermal pad installed on the CPU that is very likely to break and needs to be replaced. Can I have specifications of this thermal pad? Thickness, Thermal conductivity, Size or Part Number... Thank you. Note: Also the manual doesn't mention that the screws are Torx #8, and the ground connector is a Torx #20.Or did I miss it? |

Hi, It did break. The thing is thermal pad are inexpensive, you just need to get the right one. The CPU is 23mm x 23mm (Texas Instruments) and nothing else stick out of the board around it. I think a 25mm x 25mm is good. Tacky, both sides. The real questions are thermal conductivity and thickness. (dependent on Siemens design.) I was looking at a TG-A6200-25-25-1.0 but I have to take it apart again and measure the current pad's thickness. It has a good thermal transfer and is insulated at 6 KV/mm so it won't short anything on this board. Just need to be careful to avoid making air bubbles. |

I confirm that 1.0 mm thick 25mm x 25mm is a good match. The TG-A6200-25-25-1.0 works. |
