Direct connection between frequency converter and panel

sasabaric Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I'm trying to establish connection between frequency converter Sinamics S120 and HMI panel OP 177B throughPROFINET. I use this tutorial: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/58522638 Equipment: Frequency converter:Siemens SINAMICS S120 CU310 PN Panel: OP 177B Software: TIA Portal, STARTER I did everything described in the tutorial, but the connection still can't be established.I can't realize where is the problem. Do I need to setup some additional options in STARTER, like BICO configuration? Does the panel I use (OP 177B) even support that kind of connection?

You HMI is Profinet I/O capable and your frequency drive is supported by the library. Everything should be ok. Please recheck all settings, IP addresses one more time. Also insert alarm window in HMI with possibility to detect system errors and you will see what's happening with connection. Also check if you have entered correct rack/slot number in HMI connection for the drive.

In attachment Diplomski_P.zip is my project.This picture shows all my accessible deviceson PROFINET. I use hmi_1 with adress 192.169.0.201 and cu310pn11 with address 192.168.0.211. Thank You!
