HMI simulation can not communicate with PLCsim v19

Ufuk1985 Experienced Member Joined: 3/2/2017 Last visit: 10/30/2024 Posts: 90 Rating: (3)	Hi before version 19 I could create a plc and an hmi in TIA. Then I could simulate them both. They would communicate with eachother without a problem. (Before 19 i was using 17) But now plcsim looks different and I dont know if anything else is changed. I can start the plcsim with 1500 project but when i start hmi simulation it does not communicate with plcsim. Do I need something else?

But i still don't know how to do do it with acces protection. edit: I disabled the acces control on my main project and activated again now it works. i don't understand. But it works :)

In PG/PC settings I have Siemens PLCSIM Virtual Ethernet Adapter x3 (ISO/TCP/TCP Auto) and PLCSIM x6 (S7-1200/S7-1500.TCP/ISO/Local/MPI/PROFIBUS/TCP) I have had no issues before V19. EDIT Actually, after a lot of trial and error I have managed to get it to work by using PLCSIM.TCPIP.1
