I made a Full Siemens OPC Test :

1 CPU 1512 : Server OPC UA

1 CPU 1510 : Client OPC UA

Connection tested to the server with OPC UA expert : No problem it's ok

I have try this topic :

Now i replace Siemens 1512 Server : by 3 another servers : 

- KEP OPC UA server 

- PROSYS OPC UA Server

- UNIQO OPC UA server

Connection tested to each server with OPC UA expert : No problem it's ok.

replace in the program Siemens 1512 OPC UA by one of this 3 servers.

On the 1511 OPC UA client change adress, connection is chose 1 variable

Consistancy check ok

Recreated every thing compliation ok 

but error on the" opc_ua_readlist_c" bloc 16#3870_0600 

same problem on each server....

I don't understand ...

The error code 3870_0600 means: The session could not be set up. The statement waits 30 seconds before attempting to establish the session again. One possible cause of the error code is a lack of security settings for the client interface. Maybe the server requires a username and password? For testing purposes, it may make sense to temporarily disable the security settings on the server. Further details would probably only be seen in a Wireshark recording.

I don't understand .... the connection is same from Siemens PLC 1510 server or each other OPC UA server i have tested.

Each time i make a connection with no security... with OPC UA expert : It mean servers are all ok.

Each time when i make the connection from client interface the connection is ok and i can choose wich variable i want to access...and Consistancy check ok

There is no sense if this operation is correct on the interface, Consistancy check ok and after a compilation the connection is no good....

it mean there is no link between the interface variable selection and DB  programm compilation

Perhaps if you give a few more information someone could help.

I heard that if there is too big  time difference (time setting) between the server and the client.

The communication cannot be established.

My server provider that I am going to use

advises me to put an "ntp" temp server in my network and to synchronize with it

this should be only a problems with certificates. Every certificate has a start and End date/time.

If the time differs from Server to client but it is within the certificate limits then it should be no problem.

(of course a time synchronisation is always a good idea)

I recently had the same issue I managed to get arround this problem by setting the ClientInterfaces _Configuration.ConnectionInfo.ServerUri to the same value as the ServerEndPointUrl and set up a certificate even though I had security set to none.

 Exactly this. Thanks a lot, I had the same issue. I didn't set up a certificate though, but it worked with setting the same values as mentioned.
