Printing bug ?

xBigGx Posts: 68 Rating: (0)	Hi, On my very first project I noticed that I was unable to print the project. TIA V11 Update 2 would crash or give an internal error when i tried to print the entire project. I thought my system had to less ram (2GB) and upgraded it to 4, no succes. (XP SP3) Later on I noticed that other projects printed just fine. It seems when u use a Cyclic interrupt OB you are unable to print this OB or the entire project. TIA wil give an internal error and/or crashes .... I have attached a little sample program.... When you right-click the Main OB and choose preview TIA generates the preview just fine. Right-click the Cyclic interrupt OB and tia will give an error or crashes. Same when you try this for the entire project .... Is there any workaround for this ? Greetings, Gunther. 0_Einstein Diamond Expert Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 11/12/2024 Posts: 15391 Rating: (2443)	A simple work-around would be to do a 'save-as' copy of your final project to a new name, say "MyProject_For_Priting". Then create new OBs for all your cyclic OBs. Copy/paste all the cyclic OB data into those new regular OBs, delete the cyclic OBs. Save, print. Remember to copy the documentation and add in the non-cyclic OBs the correct OB name/# in the real project. In the header info, you'll want to refer to the "real project' name for reference. Are you going to print to PDF or to paper? PDF is what I use. You can also just print out one piece at a time and assemble them all at the end, or just all the parts up to the cyclic OBs, then the cyclic OBs, then everything after. Painful no matter what if it crashes. Maybe use a different printer driver and see if that helps .. Make a backup soon though as crashing it may corrupt it. :(
