I am using a Teltonika product to establish a remote connection to our systems. Our setup includes two PLCs and two HMIs. One of the HMIs is a Beijer screen, while the rest of the equipment is Siemens. Initially, after configuring the system for remote access, I have no issues, and I am able to monitor both screens. However, after some time (usually after 2 days, but sometimes within 1 hour), I lose the connection to the Siemens KTP700 HMI. The Beijer screen continues to work, but I can no longer monitor the KTP700.

I will attach screenshots showing the warnings I received from both the Sm@rtClient program and RealVNC. I will also include the settings from the configuration screen of the KTP700 HMI.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?

Please note that the SmartClient connection is not intended/designed to be active for many hours or even days, but rather for one-time maintenance tasks (1-2 hours max). This does not mean that it will not work if it is active for more hours, but you are more likely to observe the problem you have described.

It might also help to change the SmartServer port to one with less data traffic.

Thank you for your explanation. I would like to clarify that I do not keep the SmartClient connection active 24/7. I only connect intermittently to check the values and perform brief tasks. However, I have experienced an issue where, even though I connect only occasionally, after 1-2 days following the initial setup, I am no longer able to connect.

Currently, I am using port 5900 to monitor the KPT700 screen and port 5910 to monitor the Beijer screen. I have no issues with the Beijer screen, but the problem occurs with the KPT700 screen.

Could you please provide any further insights into this issue or suggest a possible solution?

In that case, I would recommend you try to change port 5900 to another one which is not in use (5909, for example), both in the parameterization of the SmartServer in the HMI panel and consequently after when accessing it from the SmartClient.
