your eth1 is set to dhcp and you still can't ping google? 

The gateway can only be changed if the interface was set to a static IP. This can be done in the file /etc/network/interfaces. 
The DNS can also be set in this file or in the file /etc/resolv.conf (see here). 

But usually when using dhcp there is nothing to change here, because everything is provided by the dhcp server.

What is the response from the ping command? I do wonder why your eth1 does not have an IPv4 address but only an IPv6 address.

Is the port eth1 connected to a dhcp router via Ethernet cable? 

Because there is no IPv4 assigned and also no nameserver in /etc/resolv.conf present.

okay, that firewall rule explains this behavior. 

For using static IP address do the following steps: 

1. nano /etc/network/interfaces
   change the content for eth1 like this (of course adapt to your needs):
   
   iface eth1 inet static
   address 192.168.1.5
   netmask 255.255.255.0
   gateway 192.168.1.254
   
   
2. Press Ctrl+X -> Y -> Enter to save the file
   
3. unlink /etc/resolv.conf
   
4. Create a new /etc/resolv.conf file with nano /etc/resolv.conf
   Enter your nameserver (adapt to your nameserver): 
   
   nameserver 8.8.8.8
   
   
5. Press Ctrl+X -> Y -> Enter to save the file
6. Make this file immutabel with chattr +i /etc/resolv.conf
7. Reboot the IOT2040
