temperature measurement with LOGO

roemsen Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I am searching for a solution to compare up to 30 PT100 sensors and set a relays output depending on the analog inputs. For instance I would like to set the output if sensor 1 measures a temperature over 100 degrees Celsius and at the same time sensor 2 measures a temperature below 50 degrees Celsius. Is this possible with the LOGO? If yes, is it right that I only need one basic unit and 2 LOGO! AM2 PT100 unit per 2 sensors? Many thanks for your help!

When I start LOGO Softcomfort and start dropping in analog inputs, it wouldn't go beyond 8 connections. That's 4 LOGO mains and 16 RTD Modules. Dollar wise (ouch!) that's going to hurt. An S7-224 will handle up to 7 thermocouple modules at 4 points per. That's closer, so with 2 PLC and 8 thermcouple modules, you're there. Just watch the power budget so the PLC will have enough +5 and + 24 to power the rest on the modules.
