Hi, In reference the below article understand that the safety is intergal part of TIA portal v20 onwards. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109963408 Please clarity if this applicable for the S7 1500 FH controller programming(with S7 safety advance) as well as the article only talks about the S71200 G2. |

Hi Saravana Kumar, As far as I can remember, SIMATIC STEP 7 Safety has been included in the SIMATIC STEP 7 installation media since V16. What will change with V20 is that SIMATIC STEP 7 Safety Basic will be covered by the SIMATIC STEP 7 Basic license. As you mentioned, the product note says nothing about the STEP 7 Safety Advanced license. So I assume that an additional license will be required, as it is with the current V19. However, you can try to clarify this by contacting your local Siemens sales representative. Kind regards |
