Transfer IB from device to DB

I would like to transfer these I/O directly into a DB. I can take one byte at a time and move it into the DB byte but there is a series of bytes (the highlighted one) that I would like to transfer completely into an Array of chars... Which instruction should I use to do this? Thank you Roby
	Setting of my PG M6 Siemens OS: Windows 10 Enterprise 22H2; Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8850H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz - 32G of RAM TIA15.1 Update 8; TIA17 Update 7; TIA18 Update 4 (i use normally)

0_Einstein Diamond Expert Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 11/12/2024 Posts: 15392 Rating: (2443)	You might consider a block move (MOV_BLK), or if you have a UDT defined matching the 128 bytes of the reader, and a tag of that UDT in the DB, you might consider deserialization of a sort. Or, try defining a tag of appropriate datatype, perhaps P#I128 : Array[0..127] of char - if your PLC allows it. If its a classic CPU you will need to use the start address of the input/output. So the pdf is correct for the new cpu families. regards sancruz
