What will the process be for downloading and installing on the 2050/eMMC?

Hello, I understand the the OS 2.0 image for the 2050 will be released very shortly. I have some IOT2050 with eMMC. I went to the mall and there is a charge for the OS, OSD Download only. My understanding is that the OS should be preloaded on the gateway. What will the process be for downloading and installing on the 2050/eMMC I have ?
