I'm trying to communicate a 840d NCU 720.3 PN controller as a Profibus slave with a S7-1500 CM 1542-5 module as a Profibus master. I've set up the DP port as profibus slave with address 3 in Simatic Manager for the Sinumerik and CM1542-5 is added in the S7-1500 project hardware. 

Reading the CPU-CPU communication PDF I see that DPWR_DAT and DPRD_DAT instructions are needed for this case. But my question is, since I need to specify the hardware module I'm trying to communicate (in this case the X136 DP port of the NCU), do I need the GSD file for the NCU? I've tried with the S7-300 CPU that comes with the NCU but this GSD has only Profinet and MPI ports, there is no DP port in this case.

Is this GSD available somewhere? I've searched for it.

But I'm getting DP fault in the PLCs.

Network speed is 187,5 in every hw config.
Addresses are checked.
Wiring is correct, termination resistors ON on both ends of the bus.
Transfer areas are checked.

Still getting DP led red in S7-300s and CM 1542-5.

Only thing I've noticed is that the GSD file downloaded here: PROFIBUS GSD files: SIMATIC - ID: 113652 - Industry Support Siemens for the 6ES7 317-2FK14-0AB0 CPU, allows up to firmware version 3.1 in TIA Portal, while the CPU version is 3.2. Can this be a problem?
