Hello, Start to read here: STEP 7 From S5 to S7 - Siemens Below from page 20/23 there is an Appendix for migrate the components from S5 to S7 SIMATIC S5 to S7 Migration SIMATIC S5 to S7 Migration - Siemens For HSC if you want 1 Channel Counter for S7 is 6ES7 350-1AH03 (FM 350-1) it should work FM 350-1 Counter module - Siemens At the moment what software you have? STEP 5,STEP7 "Classic" ,STEP7 TIA Portal, Etc...

Hello Besides what Ste39 has already suggested, The CPU 313C has Onboard 3 FAST COUNTERS (30 KHZ), 24V DC. You can check the possibility of using the same if the Encoder Type and Max Frequency are within this limit. Hello M.Engineer Vietnam, additionally to the information given by Ste39 and Navnag, there is also an application example available for a migration from S5 to S7: Migration Guide: SIMATIC S5 to SIMATIC S7-1500 Although this migration example uses S7 1500, most of it appies to your situation too. regards |
